Bra Making Workshop - 28th March 2026

Learn all the tips and tricks required to sew your own beautiful lingerie.

Sewing with multiple types of fabrics and different elastics an be tricky however during this 1 day workshop you will master the skills needed to make a beautiful and comfortable bra. 

This workshop will cover the technical skills required to sew lingerie and working with multiple types of fabric and elastic. We will cover fitting briefly and Sharlene will advise you on how to achieve the perfect fit. 

You will have the choice of sewing a wired or non-wired bra. We will be using the Lanai Wireless Bra or Lusamine Wired Bra Patterns by Lilypa Designs (depending on your preference). 

You will need to bring your own sewing machine and tools (i.e scissors, pins, etc). If you can’t bring your sewing machine I have spare machines you can use. You will need to bring your own lingerie fabric, elastics and matching Gutermann thread. You will receive a list of supplies and recommended suppliers required once you have signed up for the course. If you need help with this please get in touch. A notebook is also handy to have to keep notes.

The sewing pattern and sewing machine needles will be provided.

This class is for advanced beginners or intermediate sewers who are confident making a variety of garments and working with stretch fabrics.
