Evening Dressmaking Classes - January 2026

Develop your Dressmaking skills in these weekly classes. Suitable for all levels of sewists you can take your first steps in your dressmaking journey with a simple dress or skirt, or develop your skills with a technically challenging jacket or jeans, the choice is yours. 

Not only will you be expanding your sewing skills, you will meet like minded people who share the same interests as you and discover life long friendships. 

Classes take place on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evening and are run in 4 week blocks. Classes are kept small to allow everyone plenty of time with your teacher, Sharlene. 

Sharlene has been sewing since she was 5 and teaching others to sew for 8 years. She is skilled at making all types of garments and now sells her own sewing patterns. 

This class is suitable for all levels of sewists.

DATE and TIME: 

Tuesday 6th to 27th January - 7.30 to 9.30pm

Wednesday 7th to 28th January - 7 to 9.30pm (this is a longer class which is reflected in the price)

Thursday 8th to 29th January - 7.30 to 9.30pm

LOCATION: Dan Rice Hall, Drumaness

COST: Tuesday and Thursday £70 for 4 weeks, Wednesday £85 for 4 weeks. £25 deposit required to secure your space.
