S.O. Sew Dressmaking
During this 3 day workshop you will make the Bella Loves Patterns Freddie Jacket. This elegant jacket will quickly become a treasured addition to your wardrobe. Over you will learn various couture and tailoring techniques.
You will need to bring your own fabric, lining and buttons. Fabric requirements will be sent when you have booked or can be found on Bella’s website. I will be available to advise you on the correct fabric to use for this jacket.
This jacket will require specific types of interfacing which will be included and sent to you before the workshop takes place. Your fabric will need to be pre-treated (preshrunk if it is wool) and block fused. This process can take a while so it is best to have your fabric prepared before hand. All other haberdashery items will be provided (including shoulder pads, basting threads, fusible bias tapes).
Day 1 - Check fit, adjust pattern, cut fabric and mark pattern pieces.
Day 2 - Sew the main body of the jacket, including pockets, sew the sleeves including vents. Sew the lining.
Day 3 - Jacket construction and finishing touches.
Dates - 8th, 9th and 15th March
Time- 10am-6pm

Price - £400 in total, £100 deposit required initially with remaining balance paid prior to the workshop (this can be paid in installments).
