Smocking Workshop - 28th February 2026

Smocking is a traditional hand sewing technique dating back over 700 years and is used to create stunning detail on gathered areas of a garment. 

During this workshop you will learn several Smocking techniques including Cable Stitch, Trellis Stitch and Wave Stitch, and how to incorporate it into your sewing practice to create beautiful, unique garments. 

All materials will be provided for this workshop, however we would advise you to bring a notebook and pen and a thimble if you use one.

This class is suitable for confident beginners.
