The Ophelia Sleeves Add On is ready to add to your favourite pattern and take you to all your special events (or just for the days you want to feel extra special!).
You will have the option of a plain sleeve, a gathered puff sleeve or a gathered keyhole sleeve. These sleeves will add that extra “Je ne sais quoi” to your garment.
This Add-On pattern will pair perfectly with the Jen Jumpsuit, as you will just need to swap the side bodice pieces and you are ready to go!
Skill level: Advanced Beginner to Intermediate
The level of difficulty in this pattern will be dependent on the version you make. The bodice views without the keyhole back will be easiest, along with the plain or puffed sleeve. If you choose to make one of the keyhole versions this will increase the level of difficulty, however the instructions are thorough, or you can follow our video tutorials.
Please note this is not a full sewing pattern, it is just a side bodice and sleeve pieces.
You will receive an email once you have purchased this pattern to download the files. This usually comes through shortly after you have received the confirmation email and will be from 'sendowl'. Please note this is not a physical product.
Files are separated by cup size in A0, A4 and US Letter format.
Size Range:
We have included 2 different cup sizes and a size range from 77cm to 132cm upper bust.
The B Cup size range has a bust measurement range from 82cm to 137cm (32 1/4 inch to 54 inch).
The D Cup size range has a full bust measurement range from 87cm to 142cm (34 1/4 inch to 55 7/8 inch).
This pattern has been drafted for someone who is 1.65m or 5'5.5" tall. For reference Sharlene is 165cm / 5ft 5.5 inches tall.
Fit:
The Ophelia Dress has fitted bodice with bust and waist darts so you will find this add on will work best with other fitted garments, however with a little tweaking you will be able to use it with a wide range of patterns. We recommend sewing a toile of the bodice and plain sleeve first to assess your fit.
If you have your own personal bodice block you can use this as your starting point for the bodice and add these sleeves.
