The Presley Shirt will be your new go-to for all your wardrobe essentials. With a tailored fit through the shoulders, the body has more ease to allow for a comfortable fit. Want more definition? Add a statement lace up detail to the front or a bold tie at the back. It can also be legnthened to make a super cute dress.
With 3 sleeve and 3 collars you won’t be short of options to make this shirt your own. The sleeve options include a regular long shirt sleeve with bias bound placket and buttoned cuff, short sleeve or retro trumpet sleeve. Take your pick from 3 styles of collar - a classic shirt collar, a statement dagger collar or a simple mandarin collar.
With over 70 options from this one pattern you will be spoilt for choice. However, if you would like even more options you can add the sleeves from the Emily Dress and Top to this pattern or crop it at the waist and add the Emily skirt or peplum piece. You can also add some cute front ruffles! You might never need another shirt pattern again!
(These pieces can be purchased as a separate add-on here)
Fabric will play a key role in the finished style of this shirt. For a tradional shirt style choose a cotton or lightwieght linen. If you want something with a more romantic vibe choose a fabric with more drape like a viscose or lightweight Tencel. If you choose a plain fabric you can make details stand out with a contrast ribbon for the lace up or statement buttons. There are so many options to make this shirt totally you!

Files are separated by cup size in A0, A4 and US Letter format.
Size Range:
We have included 2 different cup sizes and a size range from 77cm to 132cm upper bust.
The B Cup size range has a bust measurement range from 82cm to 137cm (32 1/4 inch to 54 inch).
The D Cup size range has a full bust measurement range from 87cm to 142cm (34 1/4 inch to 55 7/8 inch).
This pattern has been drafted for someone who is 1.65m or 5'5.5" tall. For reference Sharlene is 165cm / 5ft 5.5 inches tall.
Fit:
If you are between 2 sizes choose the smaller size. There is a generous amount of ease at the bust with the option to ‘nip it in’ at the waist with the various tie options. You may also want to size down one extra size for a more fitted look.
If you have made the Emily Dress and Top then we would recommend starting with this size and completing the same fit adjustments.
Fabric Suggestions:
This pattern will work best with light to medium weight fabrics (up to 230gsm) with no stretch.
Cotton Lawn, Cotton Poplin, Lightweight Linen are all ideal. Viscose blends, Tencel/Lyocell, Modal, Cupro and Satins/Sateens will have a softer feel and more relaxed fit, but may be trickier to work with.
